Charlie as a girl's name?

What do you think of Charlie as a girl's name for our future daughter?
Her big brother is named Tobias.

    I don't like it either. It remains a diminutive form of Charles (Karel) or Charlotte. So the child will always be called Kareltje or Charlotje, even when they're grown up.

    Thanks for your honest feedback. We're thinking of doing it like this:
    Charlize Avélie, nickname Charlie. So "Char" from Charlotte and "Lie" from both names.

    I actually think Charlie is really nice!
    I don't like nicknames at all... We deliberately chose a name that can't be shortened, but it's personal, of course.
    I don't find Charlize very personal...
    Charlie, I think is really beautiful actually.
