Summer of Faye? Pronounced as "fee"

    Faye

If she's due in the summer, I think Summer is also quite nice. But not for another season.
    My opinion.

Thank you, Nelleke, for your opinion
I'm due in November, so not in the summer. Maybe you have a point; I hadn't looked at it that way before.
  3. Rose Guest #4

Summer! I really think it's a great name, it doesn't matter to me if she's born in autumn.
  4. Emma Guest #5

Rose, thank you so much for your response
My husband also thinks it's a shame not to choose the name for that reason.
But I do appreciate your opinion, Nelleke.
I think my husband leans more towards Summer than towards Faye.
Tomorrow we'll choose one of these two. It's nice to read that Summer is so popular.

    Congratulations!
I don't think Faye looks nice spelled that way, I like the spelling Fae/Fé! I like Summer. Nice and summery. Less standard than Faye.
Maybe other options: Zon Summer Autumn (autumn baby) Hazel Mae
  6. Anouk Guest #7

    Faye! Beautiful name.
Wouldn't Summer herself choose a different season?
  7. B. Guest #8

I wouldn't choose Summer for a November baby either.
I'd go with Fé/Fee (instead of Faye).
Do you have any other names in mind?
  8. Nelleke #9

    You're welcome!
I do think it's a really nice name, but it wouldn't be an option for me in November.
    Lauren ; Maan ; Joy
Just some random ideas, but maybe you don't like them either

Thanks, Nelleke! Joy is also nice, but my husband doesn't like it much.
But we've made up our minds; we're going with Summer. We think it's such a lovely name to pass up.
Especially my husband likes Summer much more than Faye.
  10. Nelleke #11

    That's so lovely!
Good luck with the birth and hopefully soon you'll have your little Summer in your arms.
