    Hi ladies,
I've started using ovulation tests this month. I'm using the LifeCare tests from the Action.
Is this positive, or should I keep testing for a few more days? I think my ovulation is coming up since I had a lot of (cervix) stretchy mucus this morning.
Anyone have experience with the Action ovulation tests?
    Love

I think your test is positive or almost positive. If I were you, I'd go ahead and have some fun sex Enjoy!

Thanks for your reply, Lotus. We're getting started here haha! Later in the afternoon today, I took one more ovulation test, and it was even darker.

Can you guys give me a hand too? A blurry photo, but in real life, both are almost equally dark.

@Helena87 That’s as good as positive, really!

super! gister toch nog geklust dus nu afwachten spannend hoor.
    In which round are you?
  7. Debbie started this #8

Exciting, Helena! Here in round 1 after two miscarriages last year. And you?
  8. Helena97 #9

That's sad to hear I'm rooting for you guys to get pregnant soon!
My boyfriend and I are in our very first round It's all so exciting. I stopped the pill at the end of August, beginning of September.

Helena87, sorry I didn't respond at all to your last message.
How are you doing now? Have you secretly taken a test yet? I did, and I shouldn't have. The test stayed omo white. But I could have expected that, of course.
My DUE DATE is only October 16/17, so it's still way too early to test. I'm so curious, I especially have a lot of these kind of stabbing pains in my belly now and sometimes a nagging feeling.
I really hope it's a hit, but I'm driving myself crazy over every little thing I feel.
  10. Helena97 #11

haha so funny.. I'm in the same boat.
Everything's going well with me, and just like you, I'm getting these little twinges here and there, weird dreams, and suddenly waking up a few times a night.
Super moody and all that haha
My due date is also October 16/17, what a coincidence haha..
I've already taken a test, but it was also blank
I really hope it's positive haha, and with every twinge and everything I feel, I'm hoping it is.
Keep me posted, okay? I'm rooting for you guys!

Oohhh, that's so exciting! What a coincidence! I'm really curious, hoping for the same for both of us. We just have to be a little patient, unfortunately.
  12. Helena97 #13

True haha, and that's the hardest part of all
Wish there was something that just told you right away haha
A few more days hahaha feels like forever. I need to try hard not to take another early test in between hahaha.
    Are you as impatient too?
  13. Debbie started this #14

Yes indeed! Oh, I'm super impatient, time is crawling by haha. I've promised myself to only do an early test on Sunday, which is about 2-3 days before my expected period. And you? Or do you wait until your expected period to test?
  14. Saar Guest #15

Does anyone know if a test always has a second line?
  15. Debbie started this #16

@Saar, a positive test always shows two lines. A negative test always shows just one line.
  16. Saar Guest #17

Thanks Debbie, the second line is a bit lighter than the first one, and I’ll have my period next week.
Last week on Oct 2nd I already had a positive test.
It’s weird, right? She shouldn’t ovulate twice?
  17. Debbie started this #18

Do you have a photo of the test?
With a positive ovulation test, the test line should always be about as dark as the control line. It also depends on which brand of test you're using.
I tested with an ovulation test from Action. For me, the line did get dark, but not as dark as the control line. The next day, I ovulated.

That's negative, Saar. There's always some LH present in your urine, which the test detects. But during ovulation, LH levels rise, causing the test line to become darker. See the photo of my test above!

Did your test look like that last week too, or was it darker then?
