We're trying to decide on a baby name for a girl. Which do you think is prettier? Thanks in advance! Any other suggestions?? X

I like both Nika and Isa. I think Emly is a typo and you meant Emily? Then I think that name is really nice too. I feel most drawn to Isa, but you can't really choose wrong!

I like Emly, but not if you actually mean Emily. Then I don't like it at all, haha.

I think Isa is really beautiful and sounds nice and smooth.

not my taste at all, but if I really have to choose, then Emly

@Sterre, I get it. We're from different generations, maybe that's part of it. I'm more into unique names, and at 21 you might choose differently. You don't have to find them beautiful; we clearly have different tastes. I think the I and A are really nice in a name.

Hi anonymous, that could be possible, maybe because of the age?
My name preferences are Roos, Tessa, Ilona, Thirza.
My oldest daughter is Yara, the middle one is Lamijra, and the third is Jasmijn. Our fourth child is a boy. Do you not like these names?

I'd go for Nika! I personally know a Nica. (I also think that spelling is nice, by the way.) I think it's a really nice name and you don't hear it that often.

Isa is nice, but I feel like you hear that name quite a lot these days. I actually know quite a few Isa's.

And Emly isn't really my style. I don't think it's ugly or anything, but it might cause some confusion since people might think of Emily first.

    Good luck with your choice!

Isa. Sounds feminine and a bit mysterious.

@annoniem wow. YES! I think Nica is also a really beautiful spelling. Nika or Nica, either way it's very beautiful. Thank you. And Isa, you're right, you do hear it a lot. And with Emly, you're absolutely right. Thanks for the tips, I'll keep them in mind. xx

@sterre. I think "nothing to find" is a pretty harsh thing to say. Never say that about any name. Every child has their own unique name and can be proud of it. I can say that there are a few that I wouldn't necessarily choose myself. Yara is definitely more my taste, and while I wouldn't choose Thirza myself, I do think it's beautiful (again, that I and a, hehe, but they're definitely not ugly names either, everyone has their own thing, right! xx

Anonymous, I meant to ask if you liked my name?
Just because you said it might be that your list of names isn't my choice because I'm older than you
But well said indeed, nothing might be a bit of a harsh word, never looked at it that way haha
