Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests
First cycle
Charina
Hi everyone,
Just a quick intro; I'm Charina, 25 years old, a teacher, and currently in my first cycle after stopping the pill.
I took my last pill on August 8th after having taken it for about 10 years. Four days later, I got my period as expected. I understood that you only start counting your cycle from the day you were supposed to take the pill again.
Today is day 31 and I still haven't had my period. Before going on the pill, I had a regular 29-day cycle. So just to be sure, I took a pregnancy test yesterday morning, but it was negative.
I feel weird; every day I feel a kind of rumbling in my lower belly, little twinges, itchy breasts, and back pain. I wonder if this is due to coming off the pill or if I might already be (very) pregnant. I'm not sure what to do; wait a few more days and test again, or maybe wait a few more weeks and then go to the GP? It's all so exciting right now, which of course doesn't make it any easier to wait for your period.
Do you have any advice? Thanks in advance!
