    Here’s a daughter Hannah. Maybe that’s also an option? I think it looks nicer than without the "h". Otherwise, I think Hanne is nicer than Hanna because Hanna without the "h" at the end doesn't feel complete to me.

    I think Hannah is a really beautiful name, but my husband prefers Hanna..

    @ Tooby: I don't have a problem with Anne either..
    With Hanna it's the same issue.. They might think you're saying Anna..

    Hanna does come up a bit more often, so people won’t quickly think “oh, did they mean Anna?” That’s more likely with Hanne.
    And it’s not about having a problem with it, it’s about making things harder for you and your child, who always has to correct people.

    But if you’re fine with that, just go for it!

    @ Tooby: I think you're from the Netherlands?
    In our area, Hanne is much more common than Hanna. Hanna ranks 92nd in the top 100 here, while Hanne is at 72nd. I think Hanne is a really Flemish name.
    But anyway, thanks for making me think about it! But it doesn't really make that much difference. I've already noticed that the name Hanne seems to be quite rare in the Netherlands.

    We have a Hanne and still think it's really beautiful! It's a sweet yet also dignified and sporty name. Can't go wrong with it?

    Hanne is indeed a beautiful name. Nice and strong, but also soft. I can already picture her, that cheerful girl. Can't wait to meet her, really. Hang in there for the last few weeks.
