Lexi! I always find that really nice. I don't have any feelings about Jess. It reminds me of Jessica and I find that truly awful. Sorry! -

I actually find Jess quite brave and I'm not so keen on names ending in -ie/-i/-y. But feel free to ignore our opinions if you want. ;-) -

I really don't like Lexi... it feels a bit childish or something? I think Jess is really lovely, quite tough too for a girl. You could always shorten it to Jazz, but my preference is clearly for Jess!
Lexi would be shortened to Lex, which is really a male name, but as someone above already said, you asked for opinions, but don't take ours too seriously in the end; you should choose what feels right to you!
