Esmee, Esmé or Esmée

Hi ladies,
I'm 26 weeks pregnant with our first baby girl and we're so excited! We've been thinking about names for a while now. I came up with three: Naomi, Fenna, and Esmee. Unfortunately, my partner doesn't like the first two, but he really likes Esmee. We both think this name is strong, cheerful, tough yet sweet. It also has a beautiful meaning... beloved. So we're leaning towards this name. But I'm really struggling with the spelling... should we go with Esmee, Esmé, or Esmée?
Or should we talk to my partner again about Naomi or Fenna??

    I think Fenna is super cute! That's what we'd name our baby if it was a girl, but it's a boy

    If we have a girl, it’ll be Esmay.. That version could also work

    On my previous school placement, one of the kids was named Ismay. Yet another variation.

    Our girl will be named Esmay. Of the names you listed, I think Esmee is the prettiest.

    No stupid tinkering with alternative spellings. That kid won't be happy about it later either. Anyway, it's not handy to pronounce a name differently than you read it. Esmée is just a French name and that's how it should be.

    I really don’t think Naomi is beautiful, but you have to know that. I do think Fenna is very beautiful. Of Esme, I like ‘Esmée’ the best. But I like Fenna more. Greetings, Jo
