A bit in shock

Last week we were on vacation and I expected my period to start. This week, still nothing, so I decided to test. And boom, a thick positive line!
I’m really so happy! But it also feels so weird.... Three years ago, when we decided to have our first, we experienced every moment and every chance of pregnancy so intensely. And now we weren’t really focused on it (I wanted to, but my husband needed a little more time), and suddenly bam. Pregnant.
So lovely, so strange, really a bit in shock.

Congratulations, girl. Letting go often helps. I know a lot of people who couldn't conceive, and then when they go on vacation, they get pregnant.

Thank you! Yes, I got pregnant three years ago too. We now have a two-year-old daughter, so this will be the second one. But the first time, I tested a lot, looked forward to it month by month, and now it's so unexpected...

Congrats!! I had exactly the same experience. Constantly doing everything—ovulation tests, timed intercourse, even lying down afterward, and all that crazy stuff. Then on vacation, none of that, no idea when ovulation happened (I never feel it), and boom—pregnant. So unreal! Enjoy it!

Congratulations, girl, what a beautiful surprise!! Did you try to see if you were pregnant, or did you just not take the pill and have unprotected sex and let nature take its course? Or were you already looking for your egg?

Thank you! Well, I stopped taking the pill half a year ago because I just wasn't happy with those hormones anymore. I always feel my ovulation very clearly. 5 to 6 hours of painful stabbing in my lower abdomen, and my cycle is always very precise. I knew we had been a bit close before, but I didn't expect it to result in a pregnancy.

That's nice and spontaneous! But is it a wish of yours?

Yes absolutely! I was ready for it for a while, but my husband wasn't quite there yet. But we're really happy about it
