1 week of brown discharge

Hi everyone
My partner and I have been trying to get pregnant since early 2018. I have an irregular cycle. Usually, my cycle lasts 31 days. This time, I’m 14 days “late” and I’ve had brown discharge for 5 days now (which I’ve never had before).
I’ve already done tests up to 1 week late, and they were negative.
I don’t have any pregnancy symptoms. I have a bit of lower back pain, breasts that sometimes feel tender, and headaches. I assume these symptoms are because I’m thinking/hoping I’m pregnant.
Anyone with similar experience/problems?
