Self-insemination chances/experiences

Dear members of this forum,
My husband and I are planning to start trying for our first baby in September.
Due to certain circumstances, we've been advised to try self-insemination.
Are there any members here with experience with this? Are your chances roughly equal?

Got pregnant three times using self-insemination. Once on the first try, and twice after two attempts. The chances are indeed about the same. There's a hospital with a good digital guide/tutorial online. Just Google it!
