Hey, I'm looking for a bit of reassurance or maybe some experiences. Last week I tested positive for the first time and also had my blood drawn (hcg 67 on NOD or NOD-1). The doctor thought this was a nice result. Personally, I found it low compared to my first daughter, but well, you shouldn't compare. To reassure myself, I thought I'd throw in a few more tests over the past week and if I get a clear positive, I'll feel better. However, my tests remain nicely pink and clear but no clear positive (meaning the test line is as dark as the control line). I'm now at least 4w5d and tested with Kruidvat tests (2w5d). Anyone with experience with this? Thank you And yes, I know I shouldn't test so much and should let go, but after a previous miscarriage it's just not that easy... greetings..

Hey girls, you really shouldn't compare it to your previous pregnancy. I got a clear positive at 4 weeks and 6 days from the Action, and then I stopped testing.
As long as the tests keep showing a nice progression, there's no need to worry!
And yeah, it's better to stop testing because you really drive yourself crazy, which I did too. And now I'm already over 18 weeks pregnant with a healthy girl

Thank you for your sweet message.. I just don't find them getting so dark these last days, maybe that's why I'm worried.. oh well, I'll keep hoping everything turns out okay

I get your worry, girl, but I have to say I had exactly the same with the Kruidvat tests. They didn't show up nicely, while the Action ones did. I also heard from my midwife that the Kruidvat tests aren't as reliable anymore..
If I were you, I'd get another Action test, they cost nothing..
Hope things stay okay for you!
    How are you feeling otherwise?

Amai, your message does me good.. Gosh, I have stomach cramps and a pulling feeling in my groin, but otherwise few symptoms. Occasionally a slight wave of nausea, but really negligible That's positive, but of course it doesn't help with that feeling of insecurity. Big congratulations anyway.. It's wonderful that those uncertain weeks are over and you can now enjoy it.. I also have a girl of 1 year and she's fantastic!

Always an uncertain time those first weeks. But I find they're growing nicely, I think. If you feel better testing more often, just do that. What someone else thinks doesn't matter. Maybe try a different brand. Or the digital ones that also show the number of weeks. Maybe you'll feel a bit more secure then. But you'll feel more at ease after that first ultrasound, okay. Good luck and I hope you get clarity soon!

Definitely do the digital one again hopefully 2-3 weeks and then stop testing for a bit (they're out now ) I'll let you know... it's nice to have a forum like this.

Tested for 2-3 weeks.. So it's positive again.. Now I won't test anymore until next week, hopefully then 3+ and off to the first ultrasound.. thanks for the support
