Hi, we’ve only recently started trying to conceive. With my last cycle, I had all sorts of symptoms that usually signal pregnancy to me, just like during my son’s pregnancy. Then I suddenly got my period, but it was very different from normal. First, a little bit of blood for two days. Normally, the flow starts properly. Then there was a lot of blood and clots. I also felt nauseous for a while after that. Then my period stopped suddenly, only to start again two days later. Very strange, because my cycle is usually very regular.

I think it might have been an early miscarriage. But now that I’m in my next cycle, I notice that my temperature is much lower than in other cycles. And it fluctuates a lot, which is also not normal for me. I should actually be ovulating, but I can’t find my ovulation with the test strips either.

Could this be because I might have had a miscarriage?
Does anyone have other ideas or experiences?
Should I just wait it out? Or could it be that the miscarriage hasn’t completely passed yet?

Best, Liva

    Hi!
I think if you've had a miscarriage, it can take a while before you ovulate again! I think you should wait a month or so!

    I'm indeed afraid of it.
    Unfortunately.

I had a miscarriage in November last year, and it took more than 4 weeks for ovulation to return. But I did get pregnant again then. So yes, a miscarriage can mess up your cycle a bit. But your body will recover from it. All those hormonal fluctuations take some time to settle.
