We already have a son named Senn. What name do you think would suit him well? We're thinking of Raf/Raff. How would you spell it? Other ideas are welcome. Thanks!

I think it fits really well, but I find the spelling quite tricky to choose... Raff matches more, but maybe it's a bit too much because of the double consonant at the end. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but what if you ever have a third child? Would you then have to pick another name with a double consonant at the end?

I think Raf keeps more options open for later and reduces the 'jut and jul' effect. Also, Raf is more popular than Raff, which is handy. What bothers me about Raf, though, is that it's the abbreviation for Rote Armee Fraktion (RAF, the German terrorist group).

If I were you, I'd probably go with Raff, but I'm not entirely convinced by my own opinion.

What do you think of Raph?

    Raf

    Rav

If you're unsure about the spelling, maybe the name isn't a great fit. Then he'd have to spell his name his whole life.
Maybe Ralf since it fits that line...or Pim, which I think is a fantastic name that fits well.
What are your main requirements....1 syllable....which starting letter.. ..that might help narrow down your search!

    Raf

I would never choose Raf because of the Red Army Faction terrorists. I also immediately think of "knocked off."

    Is Finn maybe something?

Here are some other options: Lev Lux Max Finn Tom Riff

I think Senn is such a lovely name! But Raf/Raff, I really don't find it beautiful, sorry.
    Other suggestions:
Tijn, Pim, Cas, Finn, Mick, Beau, Luca, Dex, Noah, Mats
