Hi everyone, just a quick story. I stopped the pill on June 10th and shortly after I had withdrawal bleeding, but since then everything has been still. Occasionally I've had period cramps, but otherwise nothing. Out of curiosity I took a test anyway, but obviously negative, I didn't expect anything else. I'm now on a 51-day cycle and find that quite long never thought I'd be waiting so long for my period. Called the gynecologist today, but she's on leave for 3 weeks starting today. How long did you all have to wait for your period after stopping the pill?

    Hi there!
I stopped the pill on June 19th and got my withdrawal bleeding 4 days later. I had huge symptoms in the first few weeks like nausea, headaches, and menstrual cramps. Luckily, though, I didn't have to wait long for my period. On cycle day 31, I got my period. I normally don't want to deal with that much and stuff, but I found it annoying not knowing when my period would happen. So I decided to use ovulation tests for the second round so I know if I have an ovulation or not and when I can expect my period. I tested for the past 4 days and found my peak yesterday, so now I also know approximately when I can get my period. Maybe it's an option to use ovulation tests too. But I think that's not obvious if you have long cycles. What you can do is make an appointment with the gynecologist now once she's back and meanwhile wait and see if you'll get your period after all.

In any case, lots and lots of luck trying to get pregnant and hopefully a positive test!!
