Overdue, brown discharge, dull pain in the ovaries

Hiii!
I stopped the pill after 9 years, 5 months ago.
My cycle was regular for 3 times after stopping (27/28 days) and I had my period for 4 days.
Last month I was 2 days late and had bright red bleeding for a day and a half (not much). That's when the burning/aching/aching pain in my ovaries started.
This has continued until today!
I had no appetite, lost 2 kilos, felt nauseous, had headaches, was very tired and had a lot of lower abdominal pain.
Last period I was 5 days late and now I've had brown discharge for 3 days (very little), sometimes some dark blood, but it often stopped for half a day. After 2 days of nothing, there was another "euro coin" sized brown discharge, but no period pain, really pain in the ovaries/groin. When lying down, I have the most "pain".
Pregnancy tests are negative. The doctor said 3 weeks ago that I had red blood cells in my urine and high blood pressure.
I can only go for an ultrasound in 3 weeks because he doesn't trust it so much.
Any idea what this could be?
Best, Enjoy.

Anyone? Any experience? I'm driving myself crazy...

Can't you contact your GP again? An ultrasound in 6 weeks seems pretty late to me. Also, blood (cells) in the urine isn't exactly great.
I don't know what it could be, but insisting on another visit and an earlier ultrasound doesn't seem unwise to me. And if the assistant/GP doesn't want to: let them explain why not and come with a good reason. Just say that you really don't feel well!

    Hi Maria,

Thanks for your reply! That's really nice...
The problem is that I've already been there twice and last time (3 days ago) I got a referral, but the ZH didn't have an appointment for an ultrasound until 3 weeks from now...
I'm not at ease about it, somehow.
The doctor said it wasn't a big deal that red blood cells were found (the assistant thought otherwise).
Nothing unusual was found during the internal exam either, except that my uterus is tilted backward.

I'm not really into calling around and trying to get an earlier appointment, but maybe it would be useful.
Also, since tonight there's been some brown discharge again and the feeling that I'm about to get my period again.

Has anyone else had similar symptoms?!

    Love,

Hi, I don't have experience with similar complaints. Maybe a tip though: if you'd like to get help sooner, you can also call your health insurance. Most offer a care coordination service and try to arrange for you to be seen sooner. Sometimes at a different hospital, but then you'll get more clarity faster.
    Anyway, good luck!

Hey Enjoy, I don't have experience with this but I find it really awful when you need to go to the gynecologist but there's no appointment available. I've experienced that myself before. My own gynecologist is quite popular and she's always fully booked. If I had to go for a routine check-up now, I'd have a waiting time of about 3 months. I found another one where I can get an appointment within a week. Anyway, your symptoms aren't pleasant and I feel bad for you that you can't get an ultrasound so soon. Have you thought about going to the emergency department? If you mention that you have continuous pain, I would consider that. That's what emergency cases are for, right? What if it's something serious and you'd have to wait 3 more weeks..

Thank you all so much for the kind replies!
I’m thinking about calling my doctor and asking if he can move the appointment up...
This uncertainty is so incredibly awful and it’s taking over my life and work right now.
    Thanks again!

I think everything's already been said, and here's my advice: that appointment should just be moved up. It's not nice for you to spend another three long weeks on edge! Hopefully, you'll manage to get it sorted out now, even if it means going to a different hospital. You'll feel much more at ease. Good luck!
