Bleeding 2 days before my period

Hi everyone!
I've been reading a lot here but never replied or posted anything. Until now..
I'm a bit confused, I was supposed to get my period normally on Friday (so day after tomorrow). But this morning I woke up with sharp stabbing pains in my belly. On the toilet there was clearly bright red blood. The stabbing pains have now stopped though. With my period, this pain usually lasts longer, certainly throughout the first day. The bleeding has also stopped now.
Could this still be implantation bleeding? Or will it still be my period coming through? I've never had it in "pieces" like this before.
I've felt extremely pregnant for 10 days now, and my partner even noticed that my breasts were swollen. But since your body can play tricks on you in that regard, I'm not sure.

Have you taken an early test yet?
Or have you had more bleeding by now?

I had light bleeding at 7 dpo in this pregnancy, and the night before I felt a sharp sting. I think it was due to implantation. I had that too in the round before this pregnancy. Unfortunately, that ended up being a chemical pregnancy. But at 9 dpo I got a faint positive test, and at 12 dpo I had bright red bleeding in the morning. But I was indeed pregnant. Feeling pregnant for 10 days would be quite early, since you don't get symptoms until after implantation. I assume you didn't have those feelings 10 days ago. But it could have been a premonition. I'd just take a test. You never know! Good luck.
