HELP!

Hello lovely ladies!
Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage last August at 8 weeks, and now we're going on holiday on Dec 20th and would love to try getting pregnant while on holiday haha! Only it's so hard to calculate. I'm still on the pill and have to start taking it again from Wednesday, and I usually get my period 3 days before I'm supposed to start the pill again. My last cycle was 30 days and then I got pregnant right away... Should I wait until I get my period without the pill first, or can I calculate it a bit already? Can someone help me or should I just wait and see haha?

Love

    Dear Myona,

It's so sad that you had to go through a miscarriage, but it's also nice that you're trying again. What I'd recommend is to stop taking the pill soon so your own cycle can get going again. You can also start "coming off the pill" because with the pill you don't have a real cycle, but a planned one, so I don't think you can really calculate it. I hope this helps you!

    Best, Mirella

That's quite a tough question! It depends on so many factors. No one here can tell you what your cycle will do now, let alone how to plan it so that you might get pregnant in December. Is there a reason you went back on the pill after your miscarriage instead of continuing to try for a baby? I'd actually recommend stopping the pill so you can track your cycle. You can use ovulation tests and, for example, use condoms during your fertile days if you're not ready to conceive yet. Good luck!

Hello lovely ladies, thank you for your answers! I actually went back on the pill because I didn't want to deal with it anymore. It caused me so much pain and sadness that I started taking the pill again to avoid dealing with it. And of course, I know my cycle might be different, so I'm stopping in September to get ahead of it!
