    It's meant for a girl..
    I'm hesitating because it sounds like 'In me' to me..and I don't find that nice..do you get it?

    I really like it! For both a boy and a girl, but my preference goes to Imme as a girl's name. 'In me' had never occurred to me before. You really shouldn't worry about it, dear.

    I personally also find Imme quite nice!

    I personally don't like it much, mostly because people will confuse it with 'in me' or 'inge', or they think you forgot a letter somewhere.
    It's fine for family, but your daughter will have to correct it her whole life, and not everyone is happy about that.

    I think it's a lovely name for a girl, nothing wrong with it!

    I know a boy named Timme, no other associations with this name.
