Hesitant about the name

We're looking for a timeless, not too common name for our son. Formal and neat, not too posh but still tough. If you shorten the name, it should still sound like a nice name. Also, we want a name that sounds good in English too. We're thinking of Christophe, but I keep doubting if it's really going to be the name. Would love to hear your thoughts or any other suggestions.

    I like it! Indeed timeless, neat and tough. I also think the abbreviation Chris is very nice.
