2 days overdue and a negative test

Hi

I had my period yesterday and didn't get my period. Now I did an early test from the Action late in the morning and in the afternoon, but both were negative. Anyone here has experience with that?

    Hi! I had exactly the same thing last month. I ended up being 4 days late for my period.

    That's a bummer.

    Tested this morning with first pee and it's negative again. I think my body is playing tricks on me. Hope my period comes soon so we can start the next round.

    Where are you in your cycle?

    Pfff yeah, indeed! I had a lot of stress around my period then, so I just blamed that for the late period.
    I'm back to it now. It's on Tuesday.

    Stress can indeed delay your period quite a bit... really handy, because that also causes stress, and letting go is easier said than done, haha. Hopefully, you'll get some clarity soon, mamavan2.

    I'm dealing with the same issue now, but I don't feel any stress at least. Last month it was the case, and then it started the second day after my period began. Now I'm on my third day... so we'll see. Really annoying.

    Thanks, ladies. Let's just assume it's stress. Otherwise, I would have tested positive by now. Let the period come—it sounds silly, but then we can look forward to the next round.

    Hi ladies,

    Here's an update: still no period and I've stopped testing for ages. I'm now 15 days late.

    Still stressed about the bonus kids. No matter how hard you try or what you do, you're apparently still the wicked stepmother.

    Trying to find some peace but haven't managed it yet.

    How late do you have to be before you call the GP?

    Hi Knoetje,

    Finally, after more than teeeeen weeks, I got my period. So ovulation is today or tomorrow, meaning a new round and back to the waiting game.
