It's still quite early (after stopping the pill) to have clear answers. It would be too early for implantation (but never say never).

You might have ovulation bleeding, but it could also just be breakthrough bleeding from coming off the pill, since you've had this before.

I read a lot that it can really take 3-4 months for the pill to completely leave your system, so give it some time.

Thanks for the quick reply, Tooby!
I know, but some of my friends got pregnant after just 2 months off the pill (after 10 years), while others took a year... so we'll just have to wait and see.

Yeah, it's quite variable, a bit like how some women get pregnant while still on the pill, for example.

I'd keep an eye on your spotting, and if you're still having it after a few months, that's a reason to visit the doctor. But it's still quite short since you stopped, I think they always advise stopping the pill 3 months before trying to get pregnant.

I had exactly the same thing in the first few months after stopping the pill. Sometimes bright red bleeding after ovulation, and sometimes a few days before my period. It's totally normal. It happens because your body has to take over its own hormone regulation again. For me, it clicked in cycle 3, unfortunately it was a miscarriage, but I'm also 38 and I got pregnant in the next cycle and I'm now 27 weeks. Good luck with trying!

    Oké, thanks everyone!
No more blood to see now... but I guess I'm not pregnant yet, so patience it is.
    Greetings!
