Babbles
Early ovulation
Hey everyone,
This is a bit new to me, but it doesn't feel right. So anyone who can share their experience is definitely welcome.
My partner and I started with IUI, and normally the procedure would take place around Saturday, June 16th.
My first day of menstruation was June 4th. So today (June 13th) I'm on day 9, and I have a follow-up ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow to check the follicles and get an exact start date. Normal ovulation peaks around day 14. This morning I took a blood test, and I just got the message that my ovulation happened on day 7. I always have regular cycles and also use Clearblue ovulation tests.
The test was low yesterday, I did another test this morning and it came back positive. I reported this to the hospital, and they said it would indeed be tomorrow or the day after. The smiley face was flashing, and as soon as it stopped flashing, that was the peak day. The day before, it was just a circle.
I don't understand at all that the blood results show it already happened, and on day 7 no less.
And the tests don't confirm this yet either.
I asked if there could be a mistake with the blood test, but she just said to try testing from day 7 next time and cancel the ultrasound since it's useless.
It feels very confusing.
Can this be correct, or am I just hoping it's wrong because I think it is?
Thanks in advance.
