Romeo or Roman

Hi everyone,

We're expecting a boy and are torn about the name. The last name is Spanish, and it'll probably be a mixed-race baby. We can't decide on our own and would love your help!
Which do you think looks better?

For me, the names are fairly similar. I voted for Roman (I know a family where a Romeo and Julia are brother and sister, and I found that a bit less appealing). I like Ronan and Roan even more.

When I hear Roman, I immediately think of a book. I'd go with Romeo myself (though you might get the "ooooh Romeo has found his Juliet!" comments later on, haha).

What do you think of Romain?

Neither is really my style. But I’d go with Roman.
Actually, I’d make it Roan—that’s really nice!
