Forum Baby wish

Wish me luck (to anyone else expecting their first baby)

Ef
2 weeks ago we decided to start trying to fulfill our wish for a child.
I find it all super exciting, but I'm really looking forward to it! (my boyfriend is too, by the way)
Since my father is disabled (and I'm healthy), I first had to find out through my GP whether I'm a carrier.
And lucky me! I'm luckily not a carrier, so we can get started!

I stopped the pill in Dec 2017 and since then have had a nice regular cycle of 28 days.
I'm currently in my fertile window and, according to calculations, should ovulate on Friday.
I'm also going to try testing for this with ovulation tests.

Who else is trying?
I'm really curious to hear your stories!

    Hi Ef,
I know that feeling all too well, a bit nervous and scared but mostly excited and happy!
Glad that you're not carrying a carrier. It's also good that you've had this ruled out, I think it gives you some peace now that you're planning for a pregnancy! I have diabetes, which makes it a bit harder to start a healthy pregnancy. But I'll do everything in my power to bring a healthy baby into the world..
My partner and I started our journey back in early May. Second round, ovulation happened, and now we just wait Meanwhile, I'm reading a lot of information, which I find really nice to be involved with.
Good luck, hopefully it'll happen soon!
