Clearblue keeps flashing

I'm testing this cycle with the Clearblue Advanced. On the first day, a blank circle—the baseline—and then the smiley kept blinking. It's now day 8 and it's still blinking, I haven't found the peak. My cycle is between 26 and 30 days. Has anyone ever had a blinking smiley for so long? Should I just keep going? I think it's a bit of a waste of money actually, next month back to Action

Hi, those Clear Blue light-up ones are just scam artists; you pay top dollar and they work just as well as cheap tests. Personally, I did the following since I could buy two packs of those Clear Blues every month. I tested twice a day with the Action tests during the time you expect ovulation. I found out that I only had a positive ovulation test in the evening, my peak was very short, and I always missed it with the tests. When those were positive with Action, I used the Clear Blue as confirmation. That's how I found my egg.
    Good luck!

Thanks Floydi! I tested with ovulation strips last month, but they kept showing a peak the whole time.
I think I missed my peak this time.

They’re very sensitive, I think. If you have an Action store nearby, I’d recommend picking up some test strips there. If they turn dark, just add a little bit of CB.

For me, they worked fine from Sensitest, but you have different ones. You shouldn't get the super sensitive ones. I also found them affordable. Never used expensive ones.

No, I think I'll skip that sensitive one and check out the Action bump instead

I only bought the Clear Blue when I knew I was pregnant... more like a "little gift" to see how far along I was!

Hi it's been flashing for the 9th day now. Definitely fertile mucus, so I think it'll be a longer cycle this time. Still a bit confused after the mk.

Keep testing. Your peak is coming. Trust me, those Clear Blue tests are really good!

That's right, he was there on day 11

    Hi everyone,

I've been using Clearblue ovulation tests this month and found my peak. About a week before my period, I got a flashing smiley again.
Still no period yet, but I've taken 2 pregnancy tests and they both show negative.
Does anyone have experience with this?
I'm of course hoping for a pregnancy.

I used dipsticks and CBs. On the 19th, there was a fairly dark line on the dipsticks, so I started using CBs. I used them for 9 days. The dipsticks then showed nothing anymore. On the 31st, I took an early pregnancy test, which was negative. I don't know why, but then I decided to take an ovulation test, a dipstick, which lit up. I immediately took a CB (the last one I had), and only then did I get a solid smiley. So apparently, I have a 42-day cycle.

So it could indeed be with those CB tests. I found it quite frustrating that the smiley kept flashing while nothing seemed to be happening.
