I do think he's quite special, you don't hear that so often. I think most people will probably mispronounce it, but hey, that shouldn't spoil the fun! -

I'd pronounce it the way you write it (djeeno, so). Because that's what it says.
I don't really find it to my taste. But I'm not really into Jay... names.
