Round 3

Eli
We're back in that long, frustrating waiting period. Every little sensation makes you immediately think, "Yes, it's a hit!" or "No, it's not." You search the internet frantically to compare your symptoms, only to end up still full of doubt about whether this month is the one.

I'm already on round 3. My symptoms have been different each month.
1st month: I used the pill, and my cycle was 33 days.
2nd month: Couldn't find ovulation, so I got my period after 26 days.
3rd month: Found ovulation on day 14 of my cycle, so we really tried our best and hope it's a hit.

3 days after my ovulation, I got sore nipples; they were tender to the touch and became firm.
Other than that, sometimes occasional mild cramps, mostly on the left side.

Now I'm 1 week away from my period, and I've been incredibly tired for a few days. The cramps are increasing, I feel dizzy, have a bloated lower belly, and since yesterday, lots of white discharge.
I'm not allowed to test until 06/15/2018. The waiting is so dragging.

Does anyone have the same symptoms?

I don't have them, since I'm not pregnant, but when I read experiences online, your symptoms really do match pregnancy! Hopefully you'll get a positive test in a week then.

You could say it's just normal hormones, but from my experience with sore nipples, I mainly get them around ovulation or just before my period.
The rest could be due to the weather, the heat, maybe not drinking enough, stress, etc. So until you take the test, I'd definitely take good care of yourself and relax as much as you can haha

    Hey Tooby!
Yeah, I’ve read some experiences online too, some are pregnant and others aren’t. So it’s really a toss-up.
I can’t say much about sensitive nipples; it’s the first time this has happened to me. I had breast augmentation in 2014 and since then have had much less sensation in my breasts, so it’s weird that they’re sensitive now .
What I did have was feeling sick, one day of severe sore throat and two days later exactly extremely cold, but only for one day, and now that’s over too.
My cramps come and go like snow in summer, and they’re also pulling more and more toward the inner side of my legs, always on the left side.
I really and truly hope I’ll have a positive test in my hands.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed, I’ll keep you posted!

Yeah, I'm really curious haha, I'm cheering for you!

This is my fourth pregnancy, and for me, the symptoms didn't kick in until after implantation. You'd be around that time now, but it's a bit early for pregnancy sickness. What I did have in this pregnancy and the one before (which sadly ended in an early miscarriage) was a sensitive uterus. Like a period feeling, but days before my period was due. And a light bleed a week before my period was due. But the fatigue, sore breasts, and nausea came later. I hope it's a hit for you! For me, it also took until round 3 to get pregnant. It can happen pretty quickly. Good luck!

    Thanks for the replies.
There are quite a few who say I already had implantation, others say no. So I'm a bit confused.
If I calculate it, I should normally be between 06/06 and 13/06.
Since 07/06 I've had some white discharge, it only lasted a day. Now it's much less.
Everything else was about a week before I'm supposed to get my period (15/06).
    We'll see what happens.

Implantation also never happens on the exact same day; for one it's on day 5 and for the other on day 8. That's why one tests positive earlier than the other.

    Quick update:
I'm now on day 26 of my cycle, so 2 days before my period.
I feel super, lots of energy but still a bit tired. Very happy and cheerful. My cramps are almost gone and if I do have them, they're very light.
My nipples have become a bit darker pink and bigger, and they're much less sensitive.
Discharge has become more like water/milk.
Also, every time I see a baby or think about one, I get butterflies in my stomach, like when you're in love. But that could also just be nothing to do with it.
Three more days, if I don't get my period then I'll do a test.
    I'm so curious!

What a stressful time, really. When I got pregnant, I only had extremely sensitive and painful nipples. Also very tired, tired, and even more tired. Those were my only symptoms. And yes, my period was a week late, so I bought a cheap test from Action and, lo and behold, pregnant. I hope it's positive for you this month too, and that you'll have a nice test result in your hands in 3 days. Keep us updated?

    I'll definitely keep you posted!
Normally, I get severe cramps and mood swings a few days before my period. But now I'm really happy and cheerful, though still tired. I fall asleep like a log if I'm not doing something.
And my belly is harder than usual.
I really hope this time it's a hit! That would be super!

Crazy, isn't it? Yeah, I had that too, 7 or 4 days before my period started when things began to rumble. But not this time. So exciting, but it sounds positive for you! Let's wait and see.

Got a positive test today. I took a second one because I couldn't quite believe it! Still in awe.
  12. Tamaara #13

Yeeaaahhh congratulations great test, so you felt it correctly! I still have to wait 6 days for the test, then 3 days before NOD because I have to get various photos taken at the dentist and I definitely want to rule that out. We'll see.
  13. Orchidea #14

Nice test, wow! Glad to read that. Congratulations!

@Tamaara: thank you, I still can't believe it. Next week I'll have blood drawn and on 06/20 I'm going to visit a hospital to ask for info. So exciting, only 6 more days! Hope you get such beautiful tests too! Let us know?
@orchidea thank you!! I'm so happy!!
  15. Tamaara #16

Eli, good luck today at the hospital I did an early test today, 2-3 days before my expected period, but unfortunately it was negative, so I don't think it'll work out this month.
  16. Eli started this #17

Thanks Tamaara! I'm really curious how it all looks
If your period still doesn't show up, I'd test again. Those early tests can sometimes show negative and then turn positive a few days later; it depends on how much hCG you have in your urine.
The first tests I used were also for early testing, but I only tested on the day I was supposed to get my period, and they also showed a light positive.
So it's still possible you tested too early. Let's hope he's there )

    Hi hi,

How are you? Are you doing okay? Unfortunately, I started my period again, so we're moving on to the next month, sadly
  18. Eli started this #19

    Hey Tamaara,

Sorry to hear that! New round, new chance! Are you using ovulation tests? They helped me a lot.

I'm still feeling okay, just tired and still dealing with those annoying cramps in my lower belly, but my GP assured me it's not serious and that I should think of my baby growing. He also gave me a tip: if the cramps get too painful, I can always put a warm washcloth or hot water bottle on my belly—it helps relax the muscles a bit.

I'm now in my 5th week. On 19/07/2018 I'm seeing the gynecologist , I'm curious. This week we're also sharing the big news with the family .

Good luck with your next round!
