    I initially thought it was about the health insurer...
    Maybe that's why I didn't really see it as a name for a person either.

    I also know someone with an Izzy. Haven't heard of it yet, but maybe it's a bit rhyme-sensitive.

    Glad you're looking into it. I know someone with an Izzy, which I think is a nice short form of Iris. It does sound a bit like that rhyming word for bullying behavior, though. But it's personal. I'd check with your circle what they think. If it feels right to you, go for it.
