I have a 3-year-old son. When he was 9 months old, my ex left me for someone else. I now have a new partner who lives an hour away, and I accidentally got pregnant. He can't move to my area due to his work. We've tried talking about it, but my ex won't give me permission to move. What should I do? Stay here and raise two kids alone? Or get an abortion, but that feels so contradictory to me. Or move to my current partner and set up a visitation arrangement for my 3-year-old son. I really don't know anymore.
I've already lost many people who don't think I'm a real mother anymore and have cut contact.
I feel like a bad person and just don't know what to do anymore.
Hopefully, you have tips or maybe have gone through the same thing?

    Hey ladies, what a story..
I would personally do what's best for the kids, regardless of what your ex says. And I think in this case it's best to move in with your current boyfriend and set up a good visitation arrangement for your 3-year-old son. You shouldn't care what other people say about you; people talk easily and judge quickly. No one can speak for you, and those people probably haven't experienced what you're going through.
Wishing you lots of strength, every choice you make should be made with your heart and in the best interest of your children!!!

Hey girl, I wouldn't pay attention to what people say. A friend of mine lived 2.5 hours away from her partner, and now he lives with her. They have an arrangement where the little one stays with his dad on weekends. You should definitely first sort things out with a lawyer so you can move, otherwise it's disadvantageous for you. You can't stay there your whole life just because your ex doesn't want you to. You also need to think about yourself and the little one. Your ex will move on with his life and settle down, and you'd just be left sitting there alone. If your current partner is good for the little one, you should just go for it.
