    Hi, congratulations
My husband is also Arab and he wanted a name that fits both in his country and here, which he found quite important.
Our eldest daughter is Yara, pronounced Jara.
And our second daughter is Lamijra. Our third daughter is Jasmijn, which he also liked because Jasmijn is of Arabic origin, where it's pronounced Jesmien.
And our boy is Wisam, which means honor medal.
The names we chose for our kids work both here and there.
Besides, I think Lina is the most beautiful from your list.
And what else I find beautiful is:
    Djamila, Samira, Amara.
I understood from my husband that Amber also comes from their culture. If our boy had been a girl, he would have given her this name.
    Amani means wish in Arabic.
Shakira is also beautiful, I think. But my husband didn't like it, even though this name is indeed Arabic.
    Latifa.

Tooby indeed. My apologies, girl, I really thought so.

Bregje, thank you so much, girl.
    It's all so exciting.
