Period or not?

Hi,

I already have a three-year-old daughter. When we wanted to get pregnant with her, it took a really long time.
A year ago, my husband and I decided to try for a second child, even though I'm quite scared because it took so long with Marie and that was emotionally quite heavy.
When I stopped the pill last year, things went fairly smoothly at first, until summer 2017, when my periods barely came;
in the end, my periods came properly in September 2017 and since then I've had them fairly regularly. Meaning between 31-35 days. My periods are usually quite heavy.
My last heavy period was on 26/03/2019.
On April 30 (35 days), I had light pink mucus discharge while wiping after using the toilet. I also had cramps for two weeks already. I usually get this about two weeks before my period. Now the cramps were a bit heavier.
The days after, I didn't have heavy bleeding, only when I wiped after using the toilet, sometimes there was something visible on my toilet paper:
May 1: pink mucus discharge
May 2: pink mucus discharge
May 3: brown mucus discharge
May 4: light bleeding
May 6: light bleeding
May 8: light brown bleeding
May 10: light bleeding red/brown
Never really heavy, nothing on my pad, always when I wipe.
It's been a week and a half since I last had bleeding.
I do regularly have some mild stomach pain, pain in my lower back.
No nausea or sore breasts.
I do notice that I'm very emotional.
I'm someone who shows my emotions quickly and isn't afraid to cry, but lately I've been crying at the slightest thing.
Yesterday I couldn't get the door open and I sat down and cried on the couch....

Were these my periods or is something else going on;
anyone with experience with this?
