Menstruation or implantation bleeding?

Hey everyone,
I have a small question:
My last period was from 23/04/2018 to 27/04/2018, and I ovulated on 04/05/2018. Normally, I would get my next period on 21/05/2018.
Today, when I went to the bathroom and wiped, there was bright red blood on the paper with a bit of mucus in between.
Are these my period coming earlier, or is it implantation bleeding?
If it's my period, I think that's quite early since I'm on day 26 of my cycle.

    If your ovulation was on May 4th, implantation should have occurred somewhere between May 9th and May 14th.
    If your last period was on April 23rd and your ovulation was on May 4th (12 days), it's normal for your period to start around this time; your cycle is just a bit shorter, I think.
    Just wait and see if it continues.

    During my next trip to the toilet, I noticed a very small amount of brownish blood on my pad—really just a tiny bit. It also looked more brown when wiping.
    Earlier, I had quite a bit of bright red blood when wiping, but now it’s clearly less.

    Is there still hope for implantation?

    We’ll see after a few days.

    I know that feeling of disappointment. When is your due date? I had a short bleeding episode for two and a half days... I'm curious to see what happens.

    Hey,
    Sorry for the late reply, I was also negative. I think I missed my ovulation last month.
    This cycle I used Clear Blue ovulation tests, tested positive on day 14 of my cycle. So I did my best, having intercourse two days before ovulation, the day of ovulation, and two days after ovulation.
    I'm now on day 20 of my cycle, hopefully it worked out.
    I've had sensitive nipples and mild cramps in my uterus since my ovulation, and I feel tired.
    I don't know if it could already be pregnancy, I'm only 8 days away from my period, seems a bit early for period symptoms, but also seems early for pregnancy symptoms .
    Let's wait and see what this round (already the 3rd by now) brings.
