Friend puts you aside

Hi everyone. I want to ask you ladies something, from a male perspective. My girlfriend and I have only been together for 4 months and, after an earlier unexpected miscarriage, we had consciously chosen to try for a baby. Now my girlfriend is 7 weeks pregnant and everything was fine; the heartbeat was there and the baby was about 1 cm. However, on the day of the ultrasound, she reacted differently than before. It seemed like she wasn't happy. She even went out that evening because a friend needed her. A bit weird, but okay, it can happen. I didn't make a big deal out of it. But that same evening we got into an argument and she kicked me out. For the next two days we still talked to each other, and we both said the contact felt weird and we missed each other. But she wants some space. We spent two more nights together, cuddled, had sex, and just acted normally. But the two days after that, she's completely the opposite. She's short, no more "darling" or anything like that, and it seems like she ignores me more. Also, she's shifting all the blame onto me. She says everything has become too much for her right now and she's blocking her feelings. She doesn't say she hates me or that I suddenly mean nothing to her.

Does anyone have experience with this? We're supposed to be enjoying this time together, not being apart and arguing... I know she's been having a lot of nausea and cramps lately, and now I can't be there for her in the way I want to be, which I find really hard. What's going on?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

    Hey,
    First of all, congratulations.
It could be due to the hormones. There are women who argue with their partner and sometimes even feel hatred. Take it easy. It should be over by 12 weeks, and you'll have your girlfriend back as before. Wishing you all the best.

Try to stay in conversation without blaming anyone. It could indeed be the hormones. As a pregnant woman, you can get quite disturbed by them.
I was also quite clumsy and quick to anger. But I realized I was being unreasonable. I once screamed at my husband while crying that he should leave me alone because I was going crazy. He just stood there looking confused, like, "What do you want?" He doesn't like it when I cry because he thinks he did something wrong, which wasn't the case then.
