Hi everyone,
The due date is coming up so fast, and we're still a bit unsure about our girl's name.
So, what are your impressions/associations with the name Jinti?

    I'd say Jinte sounds nicer.
    Otherwise, it's a lovely name!

It sounds a bit like a nickname for Jente or Jinte, but I think Jinti is lovely as a name too! Names ending in -nte are so common. -nti is a bit different, nice!!

Yes, Jinte was originally our choice too, but it sounds too much like Jitte (someone in our circle).

So we've been looking for a variant, because we really love the Jin- sound.

Doesn't it sound too exotic for a (probably) blonde girl though?

People often get used to a name, rather than the name itself. So, with an exotic name, for example, on a purely Dutch person, people do get used to it.

I personally think Jitte sounds different than Jinte, but Jinti could also work well.

That's so nice, Jitte will basically be our name if we ever get to have a girl. I think Jinte sounds quite different too.. Jinti is trendy and sweet, I think, definitely! Nice and original..

My first instinct with Jinti is that it reminds me of a name of Hindustani origin

I immediately think of India when I hear this name, don't know why.

I think it's a nice name for a little girl, but I'm not sure if it feels right for a woman.
Inthe/Inte I find really beautiful and similar. Jinne, Jinse, I also like. I'm not really for the i at the back, I think.
