Your body can play tricks on you when you really want to get pregnant. (By the way, it’s the same when you’re close to your due date. You feel something everywhere)

I didn’t have any symptoms at all early on. Except that, looking back, I had a bit less energy.

So the symptoms you mention don’t mean much to me. The fact remains that you’re overdue, so there’s a chance you might actually be pregnant! I’d take another test, and if your period doesn’t come and the tests stay negative, drop by your GP.

I agree with Lena. The times I wasn't pregnant, I felt as pregnant as anything. I really had no doubt that I was pregnant; I just was. Or so I thought... A few days later, I got my period, and in the meantime, Clear Blue had received quite a bit of financial support from all my tests. Costly joke. When I actually turned out to be pregnant, I only had two symptoms. Extremely tired, and extremely sore breasts. Even that wasn't enough reason for me to test. By the time my period had been late for a week, I finally tested, and sure enough, I was already 6 weeks pregnant.

Have you tried the Clearblue Digital yet? It's super sensitive to HCG and gives a reliable result.

@vkio I get your point about sensitivity, but Lena and Orchidea have a point. Those early symptoms are often a bit of a free-for-all. I had quite a bit of discomfort too, but it turned out I wasn't pregnant. It's not impossible that you are pregnant, especially if you're overdue, but a digital test would give a clear answer. What does your midwife say?
