Positive test first, then negative?

Hi ladies, I stopped the pill at the end of March after 10+ years. On April 17th I had very light brown discharge. A few days later I had other pregnancy symptoms: nausea, lots of discharge, very sensitive nipples. On April 27th I had a slightly positive Clearblue early test. Two days later I tested again, always with first morning urine, with kv2v5 and kv early yesterday: nothing more visible, those seem negative. Since yesterday the pregnancy symptoms have also decreased, but still no sign of my period. Has anyone experienced something similar? I know that coming off the pill can cause pregnancy-like symptoms, but still a positive test?

    Hi El,
How are you doing by now? I'm in a similar situation. I was supposed to get my period on 4/27, but nothing happened. I took a test today and two lines were clearly visible, but after 15 minutes or so, they disappeared. So strange. I do have nausea and am going to the bathroom more often. Sometimes I don't understand my own body at all.
They say one line is one line, but... to what extent can you assume that you're actually pregnant? I'm rooting for us!

    Hi Evangelie,
My "pregnancy symptoms" disappeared almost completely a week later, which is really strange. The blood test showed that hCG was less than 2. He suspects it was an early miscarriage—but still no sign of menstruation. If my period doesn’t come back soon, I’ll need to go back for another check.
    So I’m assuming it’s nothing.

    Hi,
I took my first test after not having my period for 3 months. It was positive. After having some red discharge for a day with clots, I tested again and it's now negative, but I still haven't gotten my period. Just brownish discharge. Can someone tell me what this is?

That sounds like a miscarriage to me. You don't have to bleed much then.
