Breastfeeding and toddler

Hi, does anyone have experience with feeding a baby while having a toddler running around? How did or do you manage that? My son is 14 months old and the twins are coming home in a week. When I'm pumping at home, he regularly brings me some toys and stuff, but it's no longer possible in the playpen since he's staying with grandma and grandpa a lot where there's no playpen. What if he falls during feeding or needs me in some other way? I'm curious about your experiences!

I think you need to teach your little one that you don't always have to give them your full attention and that they have to share it. Back in the day, women had 14 kids, so there were always toddlers crawling around while a baby was being fed. I have a lot of respect for how they managed that back then. I'm already overwhelmed with one. Maybe you're not up for it, but try having your little one watch Teletubbies or something when you're feeding.

But as long as they're playing quietly and occasionally bringing you a block or some other toy, feeding should still work out, right?
