Noah was my favorite name, but you hear it everywhere. Do you know any other nice boy names?

I always said if I were pregnant with a boy, I'd definitely go with Noah, but now that name is so popular that the charm has really gone out of it. Do you have any other cute, newer names?

    Haha, we almost had that name too, but in its Islamic version. Then you pronounce it as Noeh.

    Aahaha when you type it, it looks weird. Well, it is. But when someone says it out loud, it sounds different.

    Yeah, I still find it nice, especially the pronunciation is more special.

    Our problem was that people would pronounce it differently, and we didn’t want that. We don’t want our little one to be teased or anything like that later on. So we went with an easy name that also sounded nice to us, haha.

    Maybe branch out to something that sounds similar? Joa(h), Noël, Noam, Noas, Neo(h), Jona(h), Noach?

    Or something completely different...

    I wouldn't let it stop me if you think it's a nice name yourself.
    Names I like but didn't work out for us are Dani, Noud, Kevin, Kelvin.

    I don't get why people suddenly decide not to use names they've always wanted just because they're too popular. What if the name you do choose becomes popular in 4 years? Are you going to change your child's name then because there are too many kids in their class with the same name?..

    Just do what you want, don't pay attention to others (apart from names that could be used for bullying).

    Noah was definitely my favorite too! Until my girlfriend gave birth to a daughter a month before I had my son. She named her Noa.
    Then I went for my other favorite; Djoa. Now there's also a little brother and we've named him Senn.
    I'm happy with my choice because there are plenty of Noahs at school (girls and boys).
    But just follow your heart! And choose what you find beautiful.
