Hi! I'm pregnant with our first baby girl. We're leaning towards the name Nikée. What do you all think of it, and how would you spell it? Thanks in advance!

How do you plan to pronounce it?
    Nie-kee?
    Nik-kee?
    Naai-kie?
    Naai-kee?
    Naai-k (like the brand Nike)

Personally, I think it sounds too much like the brand because I'd pronounce it approximately like that. The last three of what I wrote down are also different pronunciations of the Nike brand that I've heard.

I know a girl who is called that, and the pronunciation is,,,,,Niekee

I would write it as Niké and pronounce it as Niekee.

We also want to pronounce it as Niekee. I just think the spelling Niké looks too much like the brand, hence the extra e at the end.

    I think it's a lovely name!
You can indeed add that extra e. But anyway, the accent on the é already gives it a different pronunciation than the Nike brand, so I don't immediately think of the brand.
Another option could be to go for Nikae. I know someone who has that name, and you pronounce it like Niekee. But maybe many people find this unclear. In that case, I'd go for Nikée, which is really a super nice name!

I don't find the name so beautiful.

I think it's a nice name. But what does adding an extra e to the ee actually add? To prevent everyone from spelling it wrong, I think Nikee is the most practical option, also for pronunciation.

I’d also go with Nikee without the hyphen, or write it as Niké.
I used to have a classmate who was called that (Niké), so I don’t think it’s a weird name.

I like Nikè more, pronounced as Niek-Kè, but in your case I would go for Niekéé.
