I'm so fed up!

Dear girls,

As the title already says... I'm so incredibly fed up. Since December 2016 we've been trying to get pregnant. Had miscarriages in March and April 2017. Terrible... no one knew except my partner of course, and he really said "never again." Now I've been to the fertility clinic, everything seems fine. The cycle after I was at the clinic was 33 days or so (normally it's 28)... and then the next cycle, on the evening of day 21, a little bit of bleeding. And today some bleeding. Less than a period but I still need pads. I'm so done that my body keeps letting me down and leaves me in the dark. We're getting married in June and it would be so beautiful if we could get married as a family of three.

Otherwise, it's constantly the question: when is the baby coming? I'd want to scream if it were up to me, like 3 years ago...

In short, just a frustration post. How do you see this bleeding? And do you think I should call the clinic tomorrow?

Would love to hear from you. I'm hopeless and really feel like "I don't want this anymore..."

Love,

Heyla, I can relate to your story. We stopped trying in Dec 2016 and had a miscarriage in Aug 2017. In Dec 2017 we went to the hospital and both got tested. Turns out we were both pretty much okay. My husband's sperm was a bit slow, but nothing concerning. After that, we were allowed to start with oral hormones and Pregnyl injections to stimulate ovulation. I also had egg monitoring so we could try in a controlled way.

Now, after 2 cycles with Clomid, I'm pregnant. So there's always hope.

The fact that you don't tell anyone is a conscious and understandable choice. I had a friend where I told her everything. Just to share and carry the psychological burden a bit. If it hadn't worked out for us this summer, we would have told friends/family. Because outsiders sometimes don't realize how painful "the question" can be.

So think carefully and make sure you both feel good about it. Good luck!!

Hi Miss Dees, that's absolutely terrible that it's taking so long, especially if nothing is found. I hope it's better somewhere else if they find something small and a pill solves it. I can totally understand that you're completely fed up. The bleeding could be implantation, that's what I hope for you. Could the clinic still help you?
It's really stupid, but it didn't work out for me right away either, and when I started feeling unsure, I thought, "I'm so done with this, there should be something nice." But every month you're in uncertainty and disappointment. Then we decided to give up because we were getting so grumpy from it. That month, I got pregnant. So weird.
    I'm rooting for you, Dees!

    Dear Trees,
Thank you. I haven't been on the pill for about 8 years. My IUD was removed in December 2016.
We had several tests last December. My husband's sperm is fine. I have no antibodies for STIs, the internal ultrasound looks good, and several blood tests were also okay. The next step would be for them to look inside my uterus with a camera. And if they don't see anything, then a chromosome test... but I'm so done with this. Looking at that weird blood again... What could it be...

Thanks, sweetheart Floydi.... I've already had a thorough talk with my future-oriented man... What if we can't have kids together? We'll stay together because it's the biggest wish for both of us. I have a feeling that it's on me... purely on intuition...

Girl, I think every woman feels that it's on her own shoulders, and yes, only a healthy pregnancy really gives you relief. Know one thing: you can't approach it right or wrong. It's a matter of luck, in my opinion. Some people have it, and others don't, unfortunately. Because in the month when my daughter was conceived, we did nothing—well, not absolutely nothing, haha—but no ovulation tests, no conscious sex for a baby because we were completely done with it, and ultimately only did it once, 4 days before my egg. And still, it was a hit; that was apparently my lucky month, and yours will come too! Those tests don't seem like anything to me either. Strength, girl, when do you get the results?

Thanks, Floydi is the same. I had hoped a bit more this month; it would have been such a beautiful announcement at the wedding. I've already received the results so far. All good... thyroid on the edge. I need to schedule other tests once I'm confirmed pregnant. But since I don't know what this is yet... I can't do that yet.
Emailed the clinic this morning... hopefully a quick response.
Don't want to push forward today...

    Hi Miss Dees
I totally get you. Trying to get pregnant since 2014. Meanwhile, had 4 miscarriages. All tests done and everything is fine.
    So frustrating.. but keep hoping.

Indeed Jenny. Just like that... started having brown discharge on day 17. Called the clinic this morning... they said it could be hopeful. I had it with my first miscarriage too... only then from day 20. They told me I could also choose insemination, but that the chances aren't much higher than just trying naturally. What are your options? Love

For a year now, I've had light brown discharge for 5 days after my ovulation. It lasts until my period. In January, I had some tests done, one was with a camera looking into my uterus. And the other was an X-ray, which I found kind of unpleasant because a fluid was injected first.
But anyway. Everything was fine. Nothing wrong. So they really don't know what our cause is. We took a little break after that. I said I would call again in early June for a follow-up appointment. And then we'll discuss further. They're thinking about IUI. But the chances aren't any higher or anything.
    It's annoying, isn't it......

    Hey girls,
I also always had brown discharge starting from 7 days after ovulation when I started with IUI. It wasn't a nice thought, so I'd give up after 7 days! But from the second IUI onwards, I got Utrogestan, 3 times a day, 1 tablet, and then I didn't have it anymore. Maybe it's an idea for you too! Good luck!

    Hi shootingstar.
I used those pills for 4 months too. The first month it did indeed stop. But then it just came back.
Didn't really help me. I see you're pregnant. Congratulations.

@Jenny how did you get this from your gynecologist? Is it a hormone? Because I have a hereditary blood disorder with a high risk of thrombosis. I'm not supposed to take hormones. Did you get it based on some test or something? Sorry for all the questions... Brown discharge has practically stopped. I have a little twinge in my tummy and I'm really tired so hoping...
