Should I take the test or not?

My boyfriend got himself sterilized about 6 years ago when I was pregnant with our youngest son.
Well, I should have gotten my period last week, or at least I think so because I'm not that regular.
Now I'm a bit scared that I might actually be pregnant since I've read that a vasectomy can sometimes reverse itself in men, even though that's not common. I've also talked to a colleague about this, and she suggested I take a test since our jobs are considered high-risk.
I'd rather wait another week, but I'm really doubting myself.
I've been able to eat and snack all day long, and I also think my belly is a bit bigger than usual.
What would you do?

Testing can't hurt.
You could grab an Action test or the 2-for-5 deal at Kruidvat, then at least you'll have certainty.
