Which name do you like better? Isa or Vere/Veere?

Or maybe you have another nice suggestion?

Nice, Vere/Veere! Never heard of it before. Isa is nice too, but I find Vere more original.

Yes, we feel the same way. But when I see the name written down, I still have a little doubt. My partner really prefers Vere. I think it sounds nice too, but I guess I need to get used to the spelling. To me, Isa feels a bit more finished. Tough choice, haha! Thanks for your reply!

Isa is a nice name, but it's a bit too common (and to me, Isa doesn't feel finished because it comes from Isabel). I think Vere is super beautiful. And if you write Vere together with the last name, does it still look unfinished? Veere could also work, although that's also a place name. You could see Vere as an abbreviation of Guinevere (kwinneveer with a soft k). A name with a Welsh history that appears in the King Arthur legend and means fertile. And is Veerle still an option? As a variation on Isa, you could also consider Ize.

I don’t think Vere/Veere is that pretty. I’d go for Veerle instead, that’s really lovely!
That’s why I’m choosing Isa. Or what was mentioned above, Ize works too, you hear it less often and I think it’s super cute.

I like both names. You could also go for Veerle.

I also think Vere is such a beautiful name. It has a calm vibe. If you're unsure about the spelling, you can say the names out loud a few times. Sometimes you'll hear which one sounds better. Isa is also good, but less common. Have fun choosing!
