<li><size=2>I had my last period from 03/21/2018 to 03/26/2018, after which I stopped the pill to try for a baby. For the past few days, I've been experiencing a lot of cramps (which feel like period cramps), occasional nausea, headaches, and fatigue. Today, I also had a rose-colored (very thick and sticky) discharge. I really feel like something is going on with me, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I'm not supposed to take a test until the end of this week, but I'd really like to know if anyone recognizes these symptoms? Normally, I should get my period again next week.</size></li>

I think it's about getting off the pill? It takes a few months for your cycle to get back on track. Good luck!

Your last period was still under the influence of the pill. That doesn't come from your body itself, and there's no ovulation. A period on the pill is actually useless because the uterus doesn't need to be prepared for a new pregnancy. Now your body has to start doing it again with hormones, and it can take a few months to a year for that to get back on track. Your next period will only be a period preceded by ovulation. That's why it's so tricky: you can already be fertile without knowing when your fertile days are. You can only talk about your cycle again after you've had a few periods. If you get pregnant without knowing your cycle, you won't know when to test. That's not a big deal as long as you live healthily. But it can cause uncertainty if you really want to get pregnant and your period doesn't come after stopping the pill.
