Waiting time for the gynecologist

Because I can't tell when I'm ovulating, I was referred to a gynecologist, but the appointment is 8 weeks away. Is that normal? Can I book an appointment at another hospital or something? What are your experiences?

You can contact your insurance provider or see if you can get help elsewhere faster. -

I'm also waiting for an appointment... according to the hospital's website, the average wait time is 5 weeks. I thought that was already quite long, but 8 weeks is even longer.... -

I’ve been calling around and now I’ve made an appointment at another hospital within 3 weeks. If you don’t agree with the waiting time, apparently you can just call around yourself to see if you can get in somewhere else sooner!
