Help!
I've been on Implanon for 2-3 months and I'm not sure if this is normal. At first I had my period for almost 2 months straight, but for the past couple of weeks it's been gone.. I've also gained 4 kg in 2 weeks & now lost 1-2 kg again. But I've been feeling nauseous for 2 days straight & have stomach pain, accompanied by itchy breasts & I've been quite clumsy, tripping over my own feet and emotional. Is this the work of the implant? Or something else in my tummy? Or is my body just adjusting to the implant?

Please.. help me..

Weird story. Same as what you already posted on the forum earlier.. just take a test if you really want to know.

Yeah, but unfortunately, that didn't work out.

What do you mean you have an Implanon? From that post it seems you still live at home etc., and then you start hoping you're pregnant while using contraception? Don't come at me with this nonsense. A child is not a toy.

Sorry.. I actually hope for nothing! I lost my child! And I was forced by the doctor to get an Implanon inserted because I wasn't stable enough medically! And I'm actually hoping I'm not pregnant out of fear for the little one! I don't want to go through this again, okay! I don't want to do this to my child!

I put my own life at risk for my little one! The chance that I would reject my donor lungs was 1 in 2, and still I did it, but unfortunately, I lost him! I put my life at risk, eh, for my little one! Not his... That's why I don't want to go through this again!

Just off-topic. If you're risking your own life, you're also risking that of your unborn child. Because if you were to die early in your pregnancy, your baby would either die or be born underdeveloped, with all the consequences that entails. Even if you were to die later, close to your due date, this still has consequences because there would need to be timely help to deliver your baby from your womb so it doesn't die from lack of oxygen or suffer developmental delays.

On topic. The symptoms you describe match the side effects of Implanon, see the website below. If you're in doubt, you can always take a test, but with Implanon you should be protected against pregnancy for 3 years.

I hope this information eases your uncertainty. I also hope that you will soon be physically stable again and that you can enjoy a healthy baby in the future. Take the time to process the loss of your first child.
