Levi for a girl?

My husband and I are currently thinking of names for our little girl on the way. From the very beginning, we both think Levi is a really nice name! But not in the usual way for a boy, no, exactly for a girl. Really cool and tough!

What do you think? Can it work? Or is this really unfair for the little girl later on?

I think it's doable... and definitely go for it if you like it. I know a girl named Levi, and it suits her well.

I really think it’s a boy’s name, and it seems unpleasant for her that she’d get strange looks because she’s a girl with a boy’s name...

I know a girl named Levy.
I don’t think it’s weird at all for a girl.
    It’s actually quite tough.

I think Levi is really a unisex name. Super cute/tough for a girl. Honestly, I think Levi suits a girl better than a boy.

I don't like it at all... I hear the name Levi too much as a boy's name!

I've never heard it for a girl, but I think it's really nice.

    I think it's more of a boy's name

I also know a girl named Levi. But I still think it's more of a boy's name.

I’d just say, do whatever you guys like! But Levi is really such a popular name. Soon she’ll be in class with 3 Levi’s, and they’ll all be boys. A bit exaggerated, but that would be my reason for not going with it. If it weren’t such a standard popular name, I’d say go for it, but now... it’s tricky. Good luck with the choice!
