EHB with sensitest ???????????

I used the same tests... not the super-sensitive ones, but the regular ones indeed. I'm very happy with them. When was your ovulation peak? I also had one false positive test with the Sensitest. All the tests after that, even on the same day, were negative, whereas in my early miscarriage and in this pregnancy, they really kept rising. That's my experience, and despite that, I'm still satisfied with the sensitivity tests. I hope you get some clear answers soon!

    Hey clautjuh,

Thanks for your quick reply :-).!

I noticed here that all the emoticons turned into question marks, so my message came across quite differently :-).

Indeed, I didn't find a clear ovulation with my sticks. I think it's due to stress, but I did have an ultrasound with my gynecologist around my ovulation time, and it confirmed a mature follicle and good buildup of the uterine lining. Since I normally always feel my ovulation and felt nothing this time, I actually thought it might be delayed due to stress.

Since I got quite a few symptoms and forgot the main one (huge amount of mucus/fluid discharge), I wanted to test anyway...

So unfortunately, I suspect a false positive test, which is a bit disappointing, of course.

It's good to read that this only happened once for you, gives hope :-).

I was thinking maybe an early miscarriage, but maybe that's not the case then.

With an early miscarriage, you do still see a faint line, and indeed it’s not just a one-time thing. It’s weird that the ovulation tests didn’t show a peak. But our bodies are often all messed up
I always used to feel my ovulation. But this cycle I didn’t... after the early miscarriage. I turned out to have a cyst on both ovaries. I found out during my period and it was later confirmed by the gynecologist. So I thought I hadn’t ovulated at all. I was extra surprised when I did see a peak on the ovulation tests and turned out to be pregnant. The cysts had completely disappeared, luckily.

    Wow, congratulations! Enjoy your pregnancy.
Then I hope it might work out like that here too. After trying for more than a year, that would certainly be welcome!

Thank you! Yes, I understand that it might happen after more than a year. Hoping and crossing our fingers!

Just a quick update: it must have been an evaporation line or a false positive test. Luckily, I kept testing with ovulation tests for another 36 days, and on day 37 :-O I observed ovulation... I have no idea how a line could appear on that pregnancy test... nor do I understand the symptoms I felt. It’s clear that your body can really play tricks on you. Now I have to wait another 14 days, though I seriously doubt whether it was a “qualitative” ovulation after day 37, especially since my gynecologist already saw a follicle around day 22...

Yeah, I once had a false positive test too. But you never know, an ovulation that happens a bit later could just as well be the case. Who knows! Good luck while you wait!
