The 5th disease and pregnant

Hi everyone,
I have a quick question. My daughter has fifth disease, and I'm 14 weeks pregnant. Can this be harmful? Should I call my OB-GYN? I did some research online, but some people say it's not really harmful, while others say it is. So I'm not sure what to do now...
Greetings

If you're unsure, you can always call your gynecologist.

The 5th disease under 20 weeks of pregnancy can definitely be dangerous if you've had the disease yourself before. It can be conscious or unconscious. The midwife will take a blood sample, and they can determine the antibodies in it. They can even see if you had the disease recently or a long time ago, and based on this result, they will look further. I've had two pregnancies where children around me had the 5th disease.

It's dangerous if you've never experienced it.

Thanks for your replies. As far as I know, I’ve never had it—my mom doesn’t know of anything either. The doctor I saw for my daughter didn’t really know either. At first, he said it couldn’t do any harm. Then he decided to look it up online, and after that he said: “Yeah, you should probably call your gynecologist.” I’ve also been feeling a bit under the weather since Friday (flu-like symptoms), and since today I’ve had a fever and pain all over (arms, legs, lower back, neck). So I’ll call my gynecologist tomorrow and see what she says.
    Greetings!
