Baby wish
Let me tell my story
Vera
Hi everyone!
I'll introduce myself first.
I'm Vera, 34 years old, and have been living with my partner for 5 years. We recently found out that I have endometriosis and a vitamin B12 deficiency.
For the B12, I'm now getting regular injections, but the endometriosis is a different story. My solution was to go back on the pill. I don't take it because I (to put it mildly) don't react well to hormones. I've tried different types and they were all terrible. So now I'd have to start the pill again... but there's also a big desire for a baby! My partner wasn't ready for that yet (he's 6 years younger), but for me, it feels like now or never. My partner understands this, and we've talked about it for hours and decided to go for it!! I'm so happy! But at the same time, I'm so scared haha.
As soon as we made the decision, we called the gynecologist. At the last check-up, there was an endometrioma on my right ovary, which really startled us. According to the gynecologist, it's no harm if we try to get pregnant, so we can get started
Just need to come back for a check-up in 3 months to see what the endometrioma is doing.
I'm so happy that we're going to try, but at the same time, it's all so scary and exciting! Will it even work...
Well, I'll stop here for now
Long story, but it's nice to be able to share your story here a bit, and maybe there are other people with the same situation....
